Meet Jenn!
Therapist, guide, and longtime resident of Utah's remote wilderness.
I have over 15 years of experience working in community mental health and residential treatment, and for many years I was a clinical supervisor. I consider myself a shepherd, helping others find their way. We all have so much value, and yet so many things can interfere with our ability to find wholeness and happiness. I specialize in helping you discover your gifts and move forward in a more positive way.
“I am at my best when I am a guide for others.”
How I Work
I start by listening — developing an understanding of who you are, what you value, and where you struggle. From there we identify your goals for treatment and the interventions I can offer to reach them. My approach is very collaborative: I offer tools and resources, but you choose your own direction.
I use cognitive behavioral therapy primarily, while also pulling in interventions from narrative therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, EMDR, somatic practices, and other modalities. My style includes finding what works for you.
What to expect in our first session
Our first session focuses on getting to know each other: what brings you to therapy, what you hope to get out of the experience, and what concerns you most as you begin. My goal is for you to feel validated and understood. I'll also offer some practical strategies you can use right away, so you don't have to wait to experience some relief.
